Three Generations, One Solution: A Family’s Journey to End PKD

Until recently all parents and grandparents could do is hope and pray their children or grandchildren would not have PKD.  Today, we are happy to say that hopes and prayers have been replaced with the knowledge that something can be done and the certainty that a baby will be born PKD free.

To demonstrate the power of our mission to end PKD, we are sharing the touching story of Patty, a grandmother with PKD. Thanks to the support of PKD-Free her daughter Natasha, gave birth to Juliana last year. Patty is now greatly relieved knowing that she will not have to worry about her grandchildren getting PKD or any other future family member.
