PKD-Free Media Center

Founded by Richard Kellner in 2021, the PKD-Free Alliance (formerly PKD Outreach Foundation aka pkDO) is the ONLY charitable organization (EIN 87-1389001) with the mission of ending PKD in families and supporting generational health. Since founding the organization, PKD-Free has supported many families through the in vitro fertilization (IVF) and preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic disorders (PGT-M) process. The number of families in the PKD-Free Babies program is growing each week, more and more families are expecting children as a result of the support provided by PKD-Free, and every month families supported by the organization welcome PKD-Free babies into the world. Each birth is an important step in ending the disease that causes pain and suffering over multiple generations.

Our news page and media center is an information hub for families as well as the media.  We welcome media inquiries.

We are happy to connect members of the media with PKD-Free leadership, medical experts, and parents who have successfully gone through the PGT-M and IVF process who now have PKD-free children.
